The CrossContact UHP is a luxurious and high-performance tire designed for four-wheel drive sport utility vehicles. It is specifically made for use in warmer temperatures and is not recommended for driving in freezing conditions, snowy or icy roads. The tire features a silica-enhanced compound that provides excellent grip on both wet and dry roads while maintaining low rolling resistance similar to regular car tires. Its asymmetrical tread pattern includes stable shoulder blocks and a continuous rib, ensuring precise steering and stability during corners. The tire also has multiple lateral and circumferential grooves that efficiently drain water, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and improving traction on wet surfaces. Some sizes of the CrossContact UHP are suitable for occasional light snow, indicated by the M+S symbol on their Specs tab.
