It also has four circumferential grooves that effectively evacuate water, enhancing traction in wet weather and reducing the risk of hydroplaning. Additionally, the presence of lateral voids, shoulder slots, and sipes across the tread creates more biting edges, improving traction on slippery roads. The AltiMAX RT45 is equipped with innovative technology to help drivers monitor the condition of their tires. It has Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI) on the shoulder blocks that wear off evenly to indicate proper alignment. In case of uneven wear, it serves as a warning sign of alignment issues. Moreover, the tire has a Replacement Tire Monitor (RTM) imprinted into its center rib, which wears out to display the message "REPLACE TIRE" when it is time for a change.
