Rigorous adjustment of the tread pattern's pitch count and variation in conjunction with knurling patterns carved into the grooves to minimize sound are all ultimately assisted by a sound-deadening layer of foam for a low-volume experience. 3D GripKontrol sipes have been strategically applied to aid the four longitudinal grooves in resisting hydroplaning in the wet, and, if weather demands, offer additional biting edges for reliable snow traction.
