This technology increases the rigidity of the tread blocks and optimizes the tire's contact with the road. The new compound has a high silica content, improving wet traction. The lateral notches and circumferential grooves effectively channel water away from the tire's footprint, reducing the risk of hydroplaning. During winter months, the independent tread blocks and zigzag sipes provide the necessary biting edges for traction on slippery surfaces, including light snow. The tire's internal structure includes two wide steel belts reinforced by a single ply of polyamide, which stabilizes the tread and improves steering response and tire life.
